Dublin Bus discusses deploying its intelligent transport system (ITS) from Tait Communications to help ease traffic congestion and improve reliability for Dublin's 500,000 daily passengers.

The Tait system includes an MPT 1327 trunked radio network, Tait TM8200 mobile radios and a TaitNet Data System. This case study shows how data obtained from the AVL system will be used to plan Dublin Bus route structures, amend services when needed and to pass on real-time information to passengers.
