This video shows thermal hog and coyote hunting footage taken directly through the eyepiece of the IR Defense REAP-IR Mini Rangefinding Weapon Sight. The video was filmed using a GoPro Hero 4 attached to the eyepiece of the REAP-IR.

Hog:
This was the second time we spotted this boar. The first time he disappeared in the long grass and we were unable to locate him until he was a few hundred yards away and going into the tree line.

When we saw him again later that night we stalked in quick, but he lost us again in the long grass, which was waist high in some areas. I climbed the water tower to get a better view. After about 5 minutes, I spotted him coming back out of the trees and heading to the bait site.

We set up and shot from about 80 yards away. He soaked up the first two shots and took another while on the run. He made it to the trees pretty quick, but only managed to run another 5 yards before dropping dead. Weight was around 200lbs (40.5" heart girth).

Coyote:

Spotted him initially about 250 yards to the south. When I turned on the mouse in distress call on the Fox Pro he proceeded down the hill to the east and then circled around until he was directly downwind from me. He casually followed the sound of the call up the hill in my direction. I probably could have waited longer and allowed him to get closer, but I was a little concerned about getting busted due to the wind and the fact that I was standing next to my vehicle out in the open.
