This vlog is about my Manimahesh Yatra (Himachal Pradesh) from Bharmour (Chamba District ) to Manimahesh Lake by Helicopter.

Manimahesh Peak (18500 feet) is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva, the Hindu deity. Manimahesh Yatra is held every year from Janamashtmi to Radhashtmi according to Hindu Calendar.

Chopper flies from Bharmour Helipad i.e situated in Bharmour (Himachal Pradesh) near Chamba (65 Kms) at about 7000 feet from sea level to Gaurikund Helipad i.e about 12500 feet. Then we have to trek to Manimahesh Lake (13500 feet) by foot or ponies.

Helicopter service for Manimahesh Yatra is only available from Bharmour to Gaurikund & Gaurikund to Bharmour in return. Helicopter Tickets are available offline from Bharmour Helipad. Also check online options before planning. Manimahesh Yatra helicopter fare is different every year. The Helicopter ride is normally of 7 minutes each side having glimpse of wonderful & natural views, But flights depend on others factors like climate & weather.
