1000 LONDONERS
This film is part of 1000 Londoners, a five-year digital project which aims to create a digital portrait of a city through 1000 of the people who identify themselves with it. The profile contains a 3 minute film that gives an insight into the life of the Londoner, as well as their personal photos of London and some answers to crucial questions about their views on London life. Over the course of the project we aim to reveal as many facets of the capital as possible, seeing city life from 1000 points of view.

I love having fun looking for wildlife and finding curiosities. My favourite part of London is the Garfield Park Nature Reserve, and I’ve been coming here since year 2. My favourite impressions were definitely that tunnel over there. I like going under the bridge as you can see there, climbing up onto the silver bridge and guiding my friends and seeking different, difficult places. I have found lots of interesting things. Well first I found this bracelet which somebody lost, I found it over there when I was digging in there, I nearly fell into the water mind you. Next thing I found, was a bit of green aventurine, it’s a type mineral you can find in mud rock and soil. And the last thing I found was, a bit of rose quartz, it’s a really nice pretty shape with a really sparkly glimmer. If you can throw rubbish in the river, you can always throw it in the bin. I feel very outraged when I find rubbish in the river. I love the country because it’s got loads of wildlife and lots of different animals which I can see almost everyday. And I like the city, because you have loads of interesting things, like aeroplanes that travel you to Columbia or Peru in South America. When I’m exploring I feel quite like excited, because I think I might find like this big frog sitting here, or a newt or a lizard.
