MansionBet ambassador Hayley Turner is the most successful female jockey of all time, with 900 winners to her name. Having recently reached that huge milestone, we spent the day with Hayley to get an insight into the world of a professional jockey.
Hayley is seen as a trailblazer for women in horse racing, having helped inspire a new generation of supremely talented jockeys. She was the first female to win the apprentice title, ride a winner in the Queen's colours, ride 100 winners in a year and to win a Group 1.
In a career spanning more than 20 years, Hayley talks about some of the highs and lows, including her retirement and subsequent return to racing back in 2018. We follow Hayley's packed routine from her early start, long drives, riding out for trainers, hitting the gym and finally competing in a race.
