Greetings all! After getting a better fitting pair of riding boots, I was still having issues getting my toe under the shifter properly. Tusk extended shifter for the KLR helps some, but boot-clearance issue was still pretty bad. Came up with this little hack-mod to move the shifter up one spline on the shaft and happy to report getting my boot under the shifter is no longer an issue! I am happy with the way shifting feels now on my Gen 3 KLR, and can wear a bulky set of MX boots any time I ride. Hope this video helps someone out!
