Let’s get more into the review:-The tilt 120 uses an easy lateral-fold system. Which simply means, the bicycle has 2 folds, one at the centre and one at the handlebar that are easy to undo with ease.It probably takes around 30 seconds to set the bicycle and ride.
Tyres:Considering it’s a foldie, the bicycle comes with 20 inch single walled rims that are sturdy. Haha ya, kids bicycle tyre size. These wheels hold rubber tyres that do a good job on city as well as rugged roads. On our test ride the 20 inch wheels were very sensitive when it came to turning. That being said, we would have preferred double walled rims instead. Would have made a huge difference.No quick release?
Drivetrain:Nonetheless, the bicycle comes with a 1x6 speed transmission that makes it easier to ride on most gradients. These gears are controlled with the help of grip shifters that do a decent job of shifting gears.
Besides, the bicycle front chainring comes with a 52 to teeth crankset that might be harder to pedal, but lets you keep up with other bicycles. So if you are going on a weekend ride for fitness, this crankset could be it.Besides, when it came to flat gradients the bicycle rode really well, however, we did find hill climbing a bit difficult.
Saddle: When it comes to the saddle, the bicycle comes with a nice comfortable saddle that comes with an adjustable quick release for easy adjustment. It also has a long seatpost that offers a better rider height on a relatively smaller bicycle frame. We would also recommend a seat cushion to add more comfort on your rides.
Brakes:Considering the price point, the bicycle comes with steel v brakes that require very low maintenance and provide good braking power in any weather conditions. Another advantage of this bicycle is that it comes with folding pedals that can be folded in times of storage. Thus, reducing the amount of space required to store a bicycle.
