We join Professor Philip Davis, the author of ‘Reading for Life’, as he discusses the power of literature to help us in times of uncertainty and hardship.
His new book Reading for Life questions what literature can and cannot do in the service of mental health and wellbeing. It is account of the work done by his research unit, the Centre for Research into Reading, Literature and Society (CRILS) in partnership with outreach charity The Reader.
