The new Note 8 from Redmi is a very capable performer, but is it more value for money than the Vivo U10? That's what we are gonna find out in today's video.
Both these phones come with IPS displays and a dew drop notch up top but in the case of the U10 it is an HD+ 6.35 inch display while the Redmi sports a slightly smaller but higher resolution 6.3 inch Full HD+ panel.
Internally both these phones are running on the Snapdragon 665 SoC. When it comes to RAM and storage we have 3/4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB storage variants on the Vivo U10. On the Redmi Note 8 we have 4/6 GB of RAM along with 64/128 GB of internal storage.
When it comes to battery we have a 4,000mAh unit on the Note 8 while the Vivo comes with a larger 5,000mAh battery. We also have 18 Watt fast charging on both devices.
Coming to the optics, the U10 comes with a 13MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide and finally a 2MP depth sensor. We also have an 8MP selfie snapper. The camera array on the Redmi Note 8 consists of four shooters. The primary is a 48MP one with f/1.79 lens, the secondary is an 8MP ultrawide one while the third and fourth shooters are 2MP each with Macro and Depth shooting capabilities.
On the software side of things, we have Funtouch OS 9.1 for the Vivo U10 and MIUI 10 for Redmi Note 8 running on top of Android 9 Pie.
