Note on Pinsound: The Pinsound download ia a newer .pspack file (sort of a .zip file) which you open with (the latest) Pinsound Studio which then converts it (unpacks it) into the familiar Pinsound folder structure of which you can then put the content in the Altsound Folder and set sound option to 1 in F1 Vpinmame options. If you are running the Pinsound software (the older 1.8.3 ) while playing you have to choose sound option 2 in F1 Vpinmame options and don't have to move the Pinsound folder content to the Altsound folder.
It is my preferred method to run the Pinsound software (the old version) but since VPX 8 it should be possible to run it without that software as an altsound folder (copy Pinsound folder content into it) and sound option 1.
