Shanghai-based SAIC Motor and German automotive giant Volkswagen Group announced Recently that they have signed an extension for their joint venture contract in Shanghai until 2040, further strengthening their long-term partnership.
This is the second early renewal between the two parties, reflecting the full recognition of their 40 years of cooperation achievements by both China and Germany.
