Today I decided to replace my Golf MK7 rear stock badge with a gloss black emblem from eBay. The emblems cost me $30 and they turned out great. However, I didn't want to just install the black VW badges and leave it like that because in my opinion it looks like a big black spot and to me it looks ugly. I originally wanted to paint the inlays the color of the car but all paint shops were closed the day I decided to do this. I found some carbon fiber laying around the garage from a previous video so I put it to good use. Plus, in sunlight, the carbon fiber looks just like the paint (platinum silver) which allows the gloss black emblem to stick out and look much better than it would if the inlay was left alone (a big black circle). So here you guys go, I hope you enjoy!
