Swallow-tailed Kite are unmistakable with their deeply forked tail and bold black-and-white plumage. Birds fly with barely a wingbeat and maneuver with twists of their incredible tail, as they chase dragonflies or plucks frogs, lizards, snakes, and nestling birds from tree branches in the summer skies above swamps of the Southeast.
