In this video he recommends minimizing information on your Arc Flash labels. 130.5(H) states that you need to have at least the following labeling:
(1) Nominal system voltage
(2) Arc flash Boundary
(3) Some method to identify Arc Flash PPE:
• Incident energy or working distance
• Arc flash PPE category in Table 130.7(C)(15)(a) / (b)
• But NOT BOTH!
• Minimum arc rating of clothing
• Site-specific level of PPE
He recommends you list the Arc Flash and Shock Hazard appropriate PPE Required:
• 130.5(H)(1) Nominal system voltage
• 130.5(H)(2) Arc flash boundary
• 130.5(H)(3) At least one of the following:
Incident Energy and Working Distance Selected
