This was the first beta that resembled Windows 95 more than Windows 3.1. Most things were in their final form, yet it was still Beta 1.4, which introduced an updated Start menu. It was also the first version to feature the Windows 95 boot screen. There was no download link available here either. The Start menu began to evolve.
