This session explored the issues related to understanding the impact of COVID19 on the accountancy profession, governments around the world, and multi-lateral development banks. Additionally, this session considered how these three parties could work together to overcome the challenges posed by COVID19 and best position economies for future crisis. Special emphasis was placed on the role of the PAOs in supporting governments, advancing transparency and accountability and contributing to the provision of essential services.
