Pat Tuthill’s daughter, Peyton Tuthill, was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered by a convicted criminal when she was only 24. During the criminal justice process, Pat was not kept informed and felt devastated by the feeling of having no control or say over anything in the wake of her daughter's murder. Amendment 6 would ensure that crime victims like Pat would have the rights they deserve in Florida's criminal justice system.
