Join Levi Thomas from Greentec as he guides you through wiring a 50A JBD BMS to 24v and 48v batteries. These batteries can be used as a UPS or to power an 120v AC inverter.
We’ll start by wiring a 7-14s 50A JBD (Jiabaida) BMS to a 7s eMatrix battery from Greentec Auto. Next, we’ll explore different ways to connect four modules together: two in series and two in parallel, forming a total pack that’s 14s72p and holds 13kWh of electricity.
Levi will then demonstrate using the 24v configuration as a UPS to power an iCharger capable of drawing 40A, assisted by a 10A DC power supply. Finally, we’ll connect the 48v battery to a Victron Multiplus II inverter, which can be used for off-grid power, home use during power outages, or in an RV.
