Urban Slicer is known for their easy to use, high quality pizza dough mixes. They recently upped the ante with a Gluten Free dough mix that I was excited to put to the test.
The dough mix, like the rest of their product line is ridiculously simple to make. The instructions include pouring the mix pouch into a mixing bowl followed by warm water and olive oil. Mix for 8 minutes, divide in 2, spread on parchment, cover for 60 minutes, bake for 4 minutes, prepare the pizza and bake for another 8 minutes.
It’s truly a simple process, and more importantly the dough is much easier to handle than other GF pizza dough mixes I’ve tried. Gluten Free doughs can be notoriously sticky, pasty, and messy. Urban Slicer’s formed a nice dough that was a pleasure to work with as you can see in the video.
The bottom line: Urban Slicer GF dough eats like a pizza, looks like a pizza, and tastes like a pizza with very few trade offs. It’s a game changer of a product and I absolutely recommend it!
