Photos and Videos cannot do Milford Sound justice, only when you stand right there in the midst of the massive-ness of mountains and thundering waterfalls, you will be captivated by its beauty!

Our unforgetable campervan journey to Milford Sound, TOTALLY worth it
* Christchurch to Omaru (3 hours)
* Omaru to Te Anau (4.5 hours)
* Te Anau to Milford Sound (2.5 hours)
From Te Anau, we chose Fiordland Tours to bring us for a day trip out to Milford Sound.
Very organized tour (8am - 6pm) with a very knowledgable guide, Jacquie.
Before arriving Milford Sound Cruise, we got the morning to have many photo stops at significant famous landmarks and sights.
My favourites are:
1. The Chasm (To see the Cleddau River where it is confined to a 22m deep narrow ravine and the rushing gushing riverflow continues to carve fascinating formations)
2. 45th South Parallel (Half way point between the Equator & the South Pole) -- Nothing really but just a photo with a sign board
3. Homer Tunnel (Opened in 1954 and took 19 years to construct. 1270m long tunnel right thru the moutains where we get a first look at a Kea, South lsland mountain parrot)
