An H2 Optimal Controller is used to suppress disturbances in a channel flow. The first part of the movie shows the uncontrolled (open-loop) case, the second part demonstrates the H2 controller. The H2 controller was designed using the SROM framework, after which Balanced Truncation was applied to obtain a low order control model.
