The Universiade's venues are expected to increase college sports and public engagement after the games. A total of 49 sports venues were used for the games, among them 13 were newly built for the Universiade, and 36 were renovated. Most of the renovated are on university campuses and will be used for college sports. Other venues will open to public free of charge or at low admission fees.
