Since the entryway platform of our home is very narrow, we decided to use this 4 compartment shoe cabinet as a console table/entry table and it works great! Not only does it allow for me to add some decor and make the space more welcoming, it is perfect to hold odds and ends to keep them out of sight. We use it mostly to store our dog's leash and bags for when we go on walks.
