Why don’t we make Nasi Lemak cake
Nasi lemak - Malaysian coconut milk rice, served with sambal, fried anchovies, salty peanuts and cucumber.
This is the best authentic nasi lemak recipe! This is traditional dish of Malaysia is cooked in coconut milk with some pandan leaves for its fragrance. This amazing dish served with 'sambal' and a variety of delicious side dishes.
Normally people make Classic birthday cake for celebration I want to make It special for my friends wish Lilian(Dutch friend) 🇳🇱 🌷 all the love and happiness in the world, all of which you deserve. Happy birthday my friend!
I cook traditional Nasi Lemak very often
This is the first time I made Nasi Lemak cake 🎂
Nasi Lemak Ingredients
1. 300g Rice
2. 500g Water mixed coconut milk
3. 3 knots of Pandan leaves
4. 2 Star Anise
5. 50g Ginger
6. Half onion
Pre-made Sambal sauce 10-15 people servings
1. 5 gloves garlics crush crush crush
2. 30-40g galangal
3. 1 stalk lemongrass
4. 20 soaked dried chillies
5. 10 fresh chilled
6. 10 shallots I used big onion cut in half for instead
7. 6 tbsp Canola oil
8. 3 tbsp palm sugar I used normal brown sugar for instead
9. 3 tbsp of tamarind paste
10. 1 tbsp of fish sauce
11. 1 cup of Dried shrimp
I made extra and freeze for future use
Deep-fried full boiled eggs ingredients
4-5 full Boiled egg
Peel the shell
Deep fried surface
Turmeric Chicken wings (optional)
200-300g chicken wings cut it and turn over
Half lime
2 tsp Salts
2 tbsp turmeric
Marinate 4 hours or overnight
100-150g Raw Peanut
1 cup Dried Anchovies
Pan fried 5 mins
