Liberating Nancy 1944 Then and Now

Liberating the French city of Nancy by the Americans in September 1944 would see big parades and celebrations by the people of the city.

During the Liberation of Nancy, lots of photos were taken by the people of the city and these now exist as excellent records of what took place during the liberation in September 1944.

I was lucky enough to visit Nancy and find the Then and Now photos taken within the city during its liberation but there were also a few of the German troops from the Spring of 1940!
