The interior of the California Special further showcases the Rave Blue theme. It includes perforated Navy Pier upholstery and Ebony Black leather seats with two-tone contrast stitching in Raptor Blue and Metal Grey, which extend to the dashboard, doors, center console, and steering wheel. The steering wheel is also dressed in Navy Pier and Ebony Black. The car's interior is completed with a “California Special” badge on the dashboard and GT CS floor mats.

You can opt for either the Coupe or Convertible, with the six-speed manual or ten-speed automatic transmissions, but you're locked to the Mustang GT Premium Fastback or Convertible versions – starting at $47,015 ($49,255 with the destination charges and acquisition fee) or $52,515 (net is $54,755), respectively. However, the California Special package is just $1,995 – and it fits snugly between the $4,995 GT Performance package and the $1,225 Active Valve Performance Exhaust.
