My 2003 Mini Cooper S had oil light on at idle. It would go off if I revved the engine. I changed the oil pressure sensor twice with now change. A lot of chat on forums and I see many people have the same problem but no real answer. I found OutMotoring website and they sell a Oil Filter Housing Drain Plunger Spring Repair Kit for $29.95. I removed my oil filter and looked and saw the plunger was broken and the top spring was lying loose. My video skills are near zero but I hope this still helps if you have this problem.
