A third child who died in the horror knife attack in Southport was today named as Alice Aguiar. It is understood the nine-year-old was originally from Portugal but had moved to Crossens in Sefton.
Friends and family today paid tribute to Alice, who died in hospital from her injuries. Two other children, aged six and seven, were confirmed as the first fatalities just before midday yesterday.
Merseyside Police were called to Hart Street in Southport at around 11.50am on Monday, July 29 to a mass stabbing. Two girls aged six and seven were identified as the first fatalities in the attack just before midday yesterday.
