Valentin Churavy, member of the MIT CSAIL team, talks about Julia in HPC.
Date: April 13, 2021
Abstract:
The Julia programming language ([ Ссылка ]) is a fast and flexible
programming language, with a rich ecosystem for scientific and
high-performance computing. Julia aims to solve the N-language problem of HPC, where performance-critical codes are written in different programming
languages from the user interface. In this HPC Cafe session we will have a
short introduction to Julia, what makes it fast and how to get started with
performance engineering in Julia. We will also talk about best practices of
using Julia in an HPC setting.
