Today we are going to show you how to make Vietnamese spring rolls. Vietnam is well known for its delicious spring rolls.
Here is what you will need for this spring rolls recipe:
Ingredients:
Ground pork or ground chicken, personally I use both together.
shredded carrots
Glass noodles – soaked in hot water for 5-10 minutes until they turn very soft
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 shallot (minced)
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon fish sauce
2-3 eggs
Some oyster mushrooms
Some rice papers for the rolls.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together to form a sticky filling.The eggs will help making it sticky.
Place a rice paper on a wet towel. Dip your fingers in a bowl of warm water and run them all over the rice paper to make it soft. Place one or two tablespoons of filling on the rice paper, fold the rice paper over the filling, fold the right and left sides, then roll from bottom to top.
Heat some oil (medium heat) in a wok or a large pan. When the oil is hot, add a few rolls in the oil. Fry them slowly until they turn golden brown. When they are cooked, put them over some paper towels to dry the oil out.
