In education news, Azerbaijani university students can purchase 1,000 books on one CD. The "1,000 books for a student" project was presented by the Union of Student Organization of Azerbaijan. It allows students to buy the disc for approximately US$2.50. Texts included are on topics such as Azerbaijani and world history, culture, as well as psychology, and economy in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, French, and German languages.
