Fans were excited at the Olympic Village early on Thursday morning, ahead of the beginning of the sixth day of the London2012 games.
British fans were hopeful of wining more medals, after gaining five on Wednesday.
"I think GB (Great Britain) will get a Gold (medal) in the rowing," Londoner Matthew Battle said
Crowds of French and Lithuanian fans were at the gates early, ahead of a Group A match between their two men's basketball teams.
Fans from both sides seemed very confident about winning.
"Of course we will win, it's evident. Now what will the score be, 10, 20, 30 points difference, we will see," Enrique Paton, from Paris said.
"Lithuania always has a chance, we are number one in the world for the basketball," was the Lithuanian response from Ohannes Butnoris, outside the basketball stadium.
France went on to win 82-74, giving the team two wins and one defeat in the group rounds.
Lithuania currently stands with a total of one win and two defeats.
