With Modi seeking the prime ministership, the ruling BJP in the state is upbeat and expects a clean 26-out-of-26 sweep.
A more organised Congress, with a smart selection of candidates unlike in the past, hopes to clinch 16 seats. The campaign has largely been dull with top BJP canvassers, including Modi, spending most of their time in the rest of more-anxious India.
