While scouting a lagoon, Rodrigo Salles of Untamed Angling suddenly saw a wake that got his attention. Then the real excitement began. As he describes it: "We were scouting the mouth of a lagoon on the lower Rio Marié with Pam, and suddenly I saw a wake — way faster than I could strip my fly. A giant bass came in pursuit with turbo speed from the structure and took everybody on the skiff by surprise (including Danielle Bayer who was on camera). It was so fast that my line flew from the skiff deck and a knot made my rod tip take off with the fish. Some help is always welcome in these situations! I got nervous about not losing that giant bass, and some good teamwork led to a great outcome for all!"
