In this video, Prof. Ahmet Kasım Han, from Beykoz University and Executive Board Member of the Centre for Economics and Foreign Policy Studies (EDAM), discusses the challenges and opportunities for EU-Turkey cooperation in the Middle East.
Prof. Han highlights the importance of preserving coordination between the two parties' policies and leveraging bilateral relations with individual EU members to play a constructive role in the future of the Middle East. He notes that, under the existing circumstances, the soft power once enjoyed by the EU upon Turkey has largely vanished, as has Turkey's soft power in the Middle East.
