In 2012, Iijima Mari did a wonderful performance of her classic "Ai Oboete Imasu Ka?" to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Macross.
She can no longer perform it at the original pitch, as she got older and her voice has matured.
I wanted to try and increase the pitch, so it brings her older voice as close as possible to the tone of her youth.
