Plunking for winter steelhead in the big river systems is something you don't see done much, despite it being very effective! These winter steelhead are traveling up the bank, using the path of least resistance. Often times plunking a spin n glo with a coon shrimp in the correct lanes will produce a ton of action! Using a plunking technique on the bank for fishing winter steelhead is actually fairly simple, once you get it down, it's easily rigged and fished.
