On the south side of Ningbo in China, a village called 石家村 (shijia) dwindles down from 5000 to 60 inhabitants as it awaits it’s final end. Most of the structures have been demolished, and the final buildings will either make it to the next iteration of whatever will exist there, or its tenants will be relocated to the apartment complexes around the city. Join my friend Jim, Barry and I as we explore the structures and rubble, telling the stories of the lives that lived there from the broken pieces.
