These are high frequency words in English that do not follow phonics rules and so we call them tricky words. This vocabulary is very useful for to teach children how to read and can be used by kindergarten / preschoolers, elementary / primary students right through to beginner adults. Regardless of the students age I hope this series of videos will aid pronunciation, reading and speaking ability for anybody whether native or non native English speakers.
