In 1980, host Terry David Mulligan introduced Vancouver’s blues/pop/jazz Powder Blues Band “Doin’ It Right” featuring Tom Lavin from their double platinum debut album, Uncut, and that’s followed by American R&B vocal group Ray, Goodman and Brown, formerly known as The Moments, and their #1 R&B hit, “Special Lady.”
