For the very first time, American Express hosted Small Business Saturday Night events in Chicago, New York City and San Francisco _ this was a chance for small business owners to keep their stores open late and host immersive retail and dining experiences for their customers. Apparel, accessories and home retail boutiques, as well as independently-owned restaurants, provided unique incentives for evening patrons _ including in-venue entertainment, dinner and cocktail specials and shopping offers. Customers also had the opportunity to meet and speak with shop owners to find special gifts and personal items for the holidays.
