The Insta Redemption facility is a feature offered by some mutual fund companies on their liquid and overnight funds. It is an incredibly useful feature that has been designed to provide investors with a quick and hassle-free way to redeem their funds i.e. immediate access to money especially in times of emergency

Traditionally, investors had to go through a relatively lengthy redemption process and it takes 1 to 2 days for the funds to be credited to their account. The Insta Redemption facility eliminates all of this and platforms like ET Money, Kuvera, Groww etc. have made it even easier by enabling the process at the click of a few buttons on their mobile application. There is ofcourse, a minimum and maximum limit to Insta Redemptions (₹50,000 is the current maximum per folio I think), so be sure to check the terms and conditions before initiating a redemption request. The funds hit the bank account within a few minutes and most mutual funds promise a 30 minute to 1 hour turnaround.

Overall, the Insta Redemption facility is an excellent feature that provides investors with the flexibility and convenience that they need to manage their investments effectively.
