Open Space event January 2011 hosted by Transition Town Wivenhoe. Around 30 local people gathered to explore the question, 'How could the Station Master's House help to make Wivenhoe a more sustainable community?' It was the first Open Space event held in Wivenhoe. A year on, in February 2012 the new franchise takes on the local network, so it's time to approach them about community use of the empty station house. TTW want to inspire and enable local people to build a more resilient, low carbon and fun way of life and the station house could help achieve this by providing a base for all kinds of activities eg green energy courses, permaculture, bike maintenance... and lots more...
