I have been no lifing Metaphor: Refantazio since it released on October 11th, and I have A LOT to say about it. While it certainly isn't a perfect game, I'd still be willing to say it's the best piece of work ATLUS has put out to the current day, and that's coming from a Persona megafan. The story, gameplay, and visuals leave a lasting impression, and this video strives to go over everything I feel regarding this new title.

"Metaphor: ReFantazio is an upcoming 2024 role-playing video game developed by Studio Zero and published by Atlus. It is the first original game from Studio Zero since its formation in 2016 by Persona series director Katsura Hashino, character designer Shigenori Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro. The game is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on October 11, 2024, in commemoration of Atlus' 35th anniversary. The game takes place in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, a medieval fantasy realm mirroring the contemporary real world, after the assassination of its former King places a curse on the Prince, putting him in an eternal slumber. The protagonist, an orphaned boy of the magla-wielding Elda tribe and the Prince's childhood friend, is tasked with journeying across the kingdom to rally support from its people as he vies to take the throne in his place while also lifting the spell."
