I look forward to this spring when I can make a large cutting from a Willow with bonsai carving in mind. In this part of the world finding yamadori bonsai material that can be carved is rare, which makes the Willow a good option. Willow also grows so fast that it makes for good bonsai development and is rewarding to work with. The corkscrew willow is particularly good for a curvy desgin. I hope you enjoy!
