Watch how my Miele struggles to cope with the huge waterlock caused by a large Woollens load. The machine slows down like all Miele's to about 250rpm and then cuts out completely, after one last attempt it runs out of time just as it reaches 600rpm.
It was meant to reach 1200rpm, well 900rpm as I decreased the spin speed intentionally so I could use my spin dryers. An older machine would have just got on with it...with no faffing whatsoever.
