Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula is backing the construction of several mega road projects in the Eastern Cape. He says they will benefit motorists and provide businesses with fresh opportunities. The government has tasked road transport company SANRAL and contractors to deliver on the projects that are expected to run into billions of rands. A Chinese company is among the contractors that have been awarded a tender to build one of the highest bridges in Africa.
