I post a lot about how much I enjoy my job as a Westjet Encore Flight Attendant, but here’s a few clips of when we faced weather challenges. We arrived to the airport on time to only find out that the weather conditions were not clear enough for us to even attempt to take off.

Working for an airline can easily teach you to be patient and not grieve every moment of discomfort. So, on this heavy snowfall in Fort Mcmurray, everyone including Crew, Passengers, CSA’s waited 3 hours until we were able to start boarding. Boarding was a breeze and we were so lucky to have such kind people as passengers. It was a long de-ice as we had collected a lot of snow over night and over the waiting period. Unfortunately 3 hours was one of shortest I have had to wait around due to weather or technical issues, but watching these videos remind of how much I have grown to see the beauty in pain and discomfort.

Even though the snow delayed our flight and inconvenienced everyone involved, I choose to see the beauty of it and not let the cold get to me ✨😊
