The Boldt Castle is built by Mr. George Boldt as a gift to her beloved wife Louise. Unfortunately, Louise died 2 months before the completion of the castle. Mr George stopped the construction and abandoned the place. He never set foot to the island again. It's a sad love story but the castle is a testament of a true love and a work of art.
