How to fix refrigerator not cooling or getting cold?My refrigerator is warm and my freezer is cold. I'm glad this was an easy fix because the last refrigerator I had to replace a fan. This refrigerator only required defrosting of the vent ports, clearing the refrigerator drain tube, and cleaning the dust and dirt off the refrigerator condenser coils and fan. It is always good to check the easy stuff first. I always check to see if the unit gets cold at all especially the freezer. If it is cold in the freezer but not in the refrigerator usually it a clogged oven with ice or frozen condensate drain causing the problem because the water has no where to go and freezes over all the essential ports in the refrigerator. If freezer fan is not working then cold air won't get to the refrigerator.If your condenser coils are not clean the unit won't dissipate heat properly and keep the unit cold.
